THE MOTORPLEX
Flatrock Motorclub’s 147,000-square-foot Motorplex is the hidden heart of the Club. Staffed with our team of trained technicians, the Motorplex provides Members with pre and post-track vehicle inspections, oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, tire mounting/balancing, battery checks, repairs and troubleshooting of both modern and classic cars.
The Motorplex staff also provides performance and customization of Member vehicles, including installing aftermarket upgrades, exhausts, suspension kits, or track setups. In addition, our staff provides setup tweaks for individual driver preferences, such as fine-tuning suspension for a member’s driving style.
SIMONE ZUCCO
Leading the Flatrock Motorclub Motorplex is Simone Zucco, a certified Porsche mechanic. Prior to joining Flatrock, Mr. Zucco worked at the Ferrari Factory, building F1 engines that were sold to the Sauber-Petronas F1 Team. In addition, he supported this team as Engine Technician and the track during the 2000 and 2001 F1 Championships. Mr. Zucco has also been the Team Manager for one of the biggest and older Race Teams in the Ferrari Challenge North America paddock for the past five years.
