The driving experience at Flatrock extends well beyond the circuit. Set on Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau, the Club puts some of the Southeast’s most celebrated driving roads within reach—from technical mountain curves to sweeping parkways framed by spectacular scenery.

TAIL OF THE DRAGON
One of America’s most legendary driving roads, Tail of the Dragon packs 318 curves into 11 miles of US 129 along the Tennessee–North Carolina border. Its tight turns and technical character have made it a destination for sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world.

FOOTHILLS PARKWAY
For a more relaxed drive, Foothills Parkway pairs winding mountain roads with sweeping views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Scenic overlooks along the route invite you to slow down and take in the landscape, with views extending across the Smokies and, on clear days, toward the Cumberland Plateau.

CHEROHALA SKYWAY
Stretching 43 miles between Tellico Plains, Tennessee, and Robbinsville, North Carolina, the Cherohala Skyway combines sweeping curves with high-elevation mountain scenery for one of the region’s signature touring drives.

DEVIL’S TRIANGLE
Winding through the Cumberland Plateau north of Oak Ridge, Devil’s Triangle offers a more technical driving experience through the rugged landscape of East Tennessee. Sharp curves, elevation changes and stretches of rural mountain road make it another favorite for driving enthusiasts.

MAKE A DAY OF IT.
For a full day behind the wheel, the 143-mile Smoky Mountain Loop brings together five celebrated roads across East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, including Tail of the Dragon, Foothills Parkway, Little River Road, US 441 through Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Moonshiner 28.
