To celebrate America’s National Donut Day, Flatrock Motorclub invited former Daytona 500 champion and Head Professional Driving Coach, Trevor Bayne, to interpret this high-calorie, deep-fried holiday. With a set of fresh tires, Trevor filled the air with the smell of burning rubber and something faintly sweet from the paddock’s pastry table. “It’s all about balance,” Trevor said as the smoke settled around him. “You eat one kind of donut for energy, and use the other kind to burn it off.”
